Update: MyMemories version 4 released!

MyMemories company has released the version 4 of their digital scrapbooking software.

It has not been very long since i presented here my review for version 3, and i was a bit surprised when i learnt about the release of version 4. I wish i had known before! For you and for me!

Anyway, i have now the new version and i have made a little update in my previous review. Here are the most interesting features i can see:

1. the paint tool ♥: you can now paint, and consequently write if you have a tablet, directly onto your layouts. You just have three different brush tip types but that's enough to add some handwriting. No more need to do it in Photoshop:) That's great!

2. the recolor tool for your photos, and consequently for all the backgrounds added as a photo. That means you can change the colour of a texture or paper with this tool. No need to have it in different colour, if you have one you can have all the colours you want!

3. there is a cool ripping effect for your photos or papers added as a photo, where you can choose which edge and "how much" you want to rip.

4. you can group several photo boxes in one group, which will then be considered as one photo. This way it is easy to create some tiling effect within any configuration you want.

There are more new features but these are the most interesting ones for me at the moment. There is a good video in youtube to present them so don't forget to check it to be sure you won't miss anything of the new version!

This is the software i will use for my "52 weeks of 2013" project. Soon and very often you'll then see what i create with MyMemories.

La compañía MyMemories ha estrenado la versión 4 de su software de scrapbooking digital.

No hace tanto hice una crítica de la versión 3 así que cuando me enteré de que venía una versión 4 estaba un poco alterada. La verdad que me hubiera gustado saberlo antes, para vosotros y para mí!

En fin, ahora tengo la versión 4 y hice una pequeña actualización de mi crítica.
Os presento un resumen de las novedades más interesantes, en mi opinión:

1. la herramiento "pintar" (paint) ♥: ahora se puede pintar, y en consecuencia escribir si tienes una tableta, directamente en tus LO.
De momento solo hay tres puntas de pinceles diferentes pero es suficiente para añadir palabras manuscritas! Ya no hace falta pasar por Photoshop pimero y éso es una gran noticia!

2. la herramienta para cambiar el color de tus fotos (recolor), y en consecuencia de tus papeles añadidos como foto. Eso significa que se puede cambiar el color de cualquier textura o papel. No hace falta tener más de una versión de un papel para obtener todos los colores posibles!

3. existe ahora la posibilidad de añadir un efecto de desgarrado a tus fotos. Puedes elegir en qué bordes y "cuánto" desgarrado quieres que se vea.

4. puedes agrupar varias fotos en un solo grupo, que luego se comportará como si fuera una sola foto. Eso significa que es ahora muy sencillo crear un efecto de mosaico, y con cualquier configuración que tú elijas. 

Existen más novedades pero éstas son las que me han interesado más por el momento. Existe un video en Youtube para presentarlas todas así que no dejes de mirarlo para no perderte nada de la versión 4!
