Un día de descanso y un nuevo mini

Hola a todos!

Hoy fue un día un poco especial. A pesar de que es jueves, hoy fue un día de descanso para mí. Llevaba tres noches con insomnios así que dormí más esta mañana. Me levanté tarde y fui al osteopata. Miré internet y cosas nuevas en Etsy, y me fui a clase de arte y luego a apuntes al natural...Muy, muy tranquilo!

Por otra parte, quiero compartir con vosotros otro mini álbum que hice a partir de bolsas de papel kraft y cartulinas recuperadas. Este álbum es una mezcla de las cosas esenciales que necesito para sentirme bien y que me proporcionan paz. Y otras cosas que me duelen y que quisiera ver en estado de "paz"...Es difícil entenderlo y expresarlo pero no importa. Comparto las imágenes con vosotros (unas de ellas y el mosaico. Pondré la integridad en mi galería SisTV). Detrás de cada página he escrito unas palabras al lápiz, estilo diario íntimo. Me encanta este álbum. Por su simplicidad, por su aspecto natural y por lo que representa.

La portada está estampada con Versamark y luego embosada con UTEE. Me llevé una gran sorpresa cuando vi como se volvía transparente el papel después del embossing. Mágico y esplendido!

La encuadernación es al estilo oriental con cuerda de lino puro.

Preparé unos dibujitos para explicaros el proceso de creación del álbum, por si os animáis a hacer uno vosotros (espero que sean comprensibles). Me encantaría saber que este álbum os inspiró un proyecto! Y por supuesto, me gustaría ver el resultado!

Hi All!

Today was quite a special day. It is Thursday but it was like a Sunday. It was three nights I wasn’t sleeping well so I slept a bit more this morning. I got up late and went to the osteopath (I don’t know if it’s the correct name for this specialist). I surfed on the Internet (looking at new stuff on Etsy), I went to art class and drawing ...I took it easy and it was good!
I share with you another mini album that I made from brown paper bags and recycled cardstock paper. This album is filled with some of my essential needs to feel happy and peaceful. And also some other things that hurt me. I would like them to reach a “state of peace" ... It is quite difficult to understand and explain but never mind. I share the pictures with you. On the back of each one of the page I've written a few words with a pencil, in a personal diary style. I love this album. For its simplicity, for its natural look and for what it stands for. The cover is stamped with Versamark and then embossed with UTEE. It was a big surprise to see how the paper was turning transparent after the embossing. Magical and beautiful! The binding is oriental style, made with a string of pure linen. I made some “quick notes” to explain the process of creation of this album in case you would like to make one yourself (and hope it will be understandable). I'd love to know that this album has inspired new projects! And of course, I would like to see them!
I just put some of the pictures plus a mosaic, and I will put the whole album in my SisTv gallery.
