Dentro de dos días me voy de vacaciones a Francia y a la vuelta estaremos en 2009!
Para desearos a todos unas felices fiestas y un buen año nuevo os he preparado una tarjeta de "Feliz año nuevo" de tamaño máximo 10 X 14 cm (aprox. el tamaño de una foto estándar).
La podéis descargar, imprimir y mandar con vuestros mejores deseos a todos los vuestros (los enlaces en español, catalán, francés e inglés se encuentran al final de esta entrada), y eso hasta el 2 de Enero, fecha en que preveo actualizar mi tienda Etsy con algunas novedades que he ido preparando. El diseño de la tarjeta hace parte de esas novedades, así que soís los primeros en difrutarlo!
Es mi manera de agradeceros por todas las visitas, comentarios y soporte que me habéis demostrado a lo largo de esos últimos meses. Sin vuestro apoyo no habría encontrado esta energía y motivación para avanzar en mi proyecto. Así que muchísimas gracias y felices fiestas!

To wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year, I have prepared a card of "Best wishes for 2009" (max size is 10 X 14 cm, i.e. standard picture). You can download, print and send it with your best wishes to all the people you love! (available in Spanish, Catalan, French and English at the end of this post). It will remain available until Jan. 2nd, the date I plan to update my Etsy shop with some new stuff that I have been preparing. The design of the card is part of this new stuff, so that you are the first to enjoy it!

Reto Scrapping the music para Navidad
Hola a todos!
¿Qué tal el fin de semana?
Por aquí, hizo bastante frío. ¡Me encanta!
Trabajé en un nuevo proyecto que me tiene obsesionada. No me deja dormir de la excitación que llevo...en fin, os contaré más dentro de algunas semanas (no, no voy a exponer en el Moma de NY, tampoco os imagináis nada del otro mundo!!!).
Bueno, hoy os quería animar a participar al nuevo reto de Scrapping the music sobre el tema de Navidad. La canción es "All I want for Christmas" y teneís dos semanas para completar vuestra página. Lo interesante es que el que gana el challenge recibirá un premio diseñado por todos los miembros de la DT (muy muy chulo!). Vale la pena intentarlo, no???

Hope you had an excellent weekend. Here, it was pretty cold, i love it!
I have been busy with a new project that almost doesn't let me sleep, i am so excited! No, i won't have an exhibition to the Moma of NY (!)...I will tell you more about it soon.
For the moment, go and check the new challenge at scrapping the music. The song is "All I want for Christmas" and you have two weeks to make your layout. There will be a very special prize for the winner, designed by all the members of the DT and very very cool...You have to participate!
My page is not technically scrap, but i like it that way.

Novedades - Resumen de la semana
Hola!
Sí, ya sé que os tengo un poco abandonados pero estuve tan liada! El mes de Diciembre siempre es un estrés. Odio este periodo del año! Para mí, las Navidades tal y como las vivo no tienen ningún sentido y me gustaría poder celebrarlo a mi manera...En fin, os paso los detalles para no desanimar los que sí disfrutan estas fiestas.
Esta semana estuve trabajando en regalos que me encargaron para Navidad. Me hizo tanta ilusión trabajar en proyectos diferentes. Hice dos diarios intimos y un libro de recetas (la verdad que me quedaron chulísimos). Me falta confeccionar una cajita para guardar fotos! Os enseñaré fotos pronto.
Por otra parte estuve haciendo tarjetas para...San Valentín! Sí! Ya me estoy preparando para poder añadirlas a mi Etsy en Enero. No quiero perder el tren otra vez, como lo hice este mes...
El sábado 20 de Diciembre está programada otra clase en Cromatismes. Esta vez es una clase de técnica de 2 horas (de 11:00 a 13:00). Concretamente, trabajaremos la alteración de fotos con lejía! La pasareis en grande con esta técnica! Los efectos son espectaculares y muy artísticos. Una de mis técnicas preferidas! Además el proyecto en sí puede ser un regalo de Navidad muy chulo !!!
Mi amiga Barbara me dio un premio en su blog! Muchísimas gracias Barbara! Esta mujer fue la que "descubrió" mi trabajo en 2Peas y me propuso hacer parte de la DT de Scrapping the music. Eso hace un poco más de 6 meses! Y desde entonces, he conocido a gente nueva y descubierto trabajos y técnicas increíbles! La verdad que le debo mucho...En principio tendría que pasar el premio a otros cinco blogs...a ver si me lo pienso un poco y lo hago más tarde.
Bueno, falta menos de un mes para el 2009! En este periodo del año me gusta hacer un balance de todo lo que hice en el año, haciendo resaltar lo positivo. Es un excelente ejercicio para darse cuenta de que sí avanzamos y de que siempre hay cosas nuevas por descubrir y aprender. Y como en el día a día tiendo a olvidar las cosas positivas...
Estoy súper contenta porque llevo un año haciendo una tarjeta tamaño ATC cada domingo. O sea que dentro de tres semanas, tendré unas 52 cartas diferentes, 52 cartas como testimonio de mi 2008, 52 anécdotas de las 52 semanas del año! Me encantan porque es una forma muy fácil de llevar un diario, y además más artístico. Os enseñaré mis preferidas a finales del año.
Pienso repetir el año que viene. Si os animáis, lo hacemos juntos. Estoy segura de que os va a encantar sentaros cada domingo delante de una carta en blanco y pensar ¿qué quiero recordar de la semana que acabo de vivir?, y empezar a cortar, pegar, grapar, pintar, etc. Vuestra media hora de creación a la semana! A ver si me acompañáis en este viaje...
Que bueno es disfrutar de un fin de semana largo...a pesar de que sigo trabajando, me doy el lujo de dormir más por la mañana y de tomarlo todo con más calma.

I know you that i've got you a little bit abandoned, sorry! But December is always a month of stress. I hate this time of the year! Christmas as I live it is just nonsense and I wish I could celebrate it my way ... Anyway, i don't want to be too negative for those who do enjoy these holidays.
This week I've been working on special gifts for Christmas, gifts that I was asked to make. I was so happy to work on different projects. I made two diaries for two girls and a book of recipes (I think they have turned out really pretty!). I still have to make a box for storing photos! I'll show pictures soon.
I've also been making cards for ...Valentine's Day ! Yep! I am already getting prepared to add them to my Etsy shop in January. I do not want to miss the train again, as I did this month ...
On Saturday, December 20th I'll give a class at Cromatismes. We will work with bleach to alter photos. The effects can be spectacular and very artistic. One of my favorite techniques!
My friend Barbara gave me a blog award! Thank you Barbara! This woman "discovered" my work at 2Peas a little more than 6 months ago and asked me to be part of Scrapping of the music DT. Since then, I've met new interesting people and discovered amazing works and techniques ! The truth is that I owe her a lot ...
In less than one month it will be 2009! In this time of the year I like to make a balance of what i achieved during the year, highlighting the positive part. It is an excellent exercise to realize that we actually move forward, and that there are always plenty of things to discover and learn. And because I tend to forget the positive things in my everyday life ...
I'm also super happy because it's almost one year since i'm doing an ATC every Sunday! Within three weeks I will have about 52 different cards, 52 cards as a tribute to 2008, 52 entries of the 52 weeks of the year! I love these cards because it's an easy way of keeping a visual journal. I'll show you one of my favorites at the end of the year.
I will repeat next year. If you want we'll do it together. I'm sure you'll love to sit in front of a blank card every Sunday and think "what do i want to remember from the week i've just lived?" and begin to cut, paste, staple, paint, and so on. This will be your creative time, once a week! Let's see if you follow me on this creative journey ...
This weekend is a 3 day-long weekend. It feels so good! Even if I have been working, I slept more in the morning and took it easy.

Otra semana...
Buenos Días,
espero que habéis pasado un excelente fin de semana. Mucho frío, no? Y nosotros que tenemos la calefacción lunática. Un día sí, otro día no. A ver si nos la arreglan esta tarde.
El taller del sábado en Cromatismes estuvo muy bien. Me dijeron que les había gustado mucho el proyecto. Pero al final no vinieron tantos, o sea que quedaban algunas plazas...lástima! En fin, estoy muy contenta. Además, conocí a chicas muy simpáticas!
El fin de semana transcurrió muy tranquilamente. Fuimos a la exposición "La modernitat americana" en la fundació Joan Miró. Me esperaba algo más grande pero vimos obras muy interesantes (os enseño unas de mis favoritas, al natural son halucinantes).
De Robert Mangold, cada cuadro pintado es un lienzo diferente montado en un bastidor independiente, y se juntaron.
De Emil Carlsen, este bodegón al natural es increíble. Una joya!
Estoy pensando que este mes tengo que planificar el año que viene. Me gustaría proyecto alguna exposición, dentro de una colectiva, o algo. Me tengo que informar y pensar bien lo que quiero presentar.
Y también, ya estoy pensando en los próximos cursos de scrap...espero sorprenderos con técnicas chulas!

How was your weekend? Thanksgiving?
Mine, cold...we had problem with our heater!
I gave my workshop on Saturday and it was great! The girls were really happy with the project and learnt a new technique. I am very happy!
We went to the exhibition called "the American modernity". I thought it would be bigger but we did see beautiful pieces. I show you two of them. They are splendid in person!
I am now thinking to plan a collective exhibition for next year with some of my work. I have to find out where and what exactly i could show...Plus I'm already planning next scrap classes. They will start in January. I hope to find some cool techniques to work with!
Last but not least, I show you a mixed-media work I made from a picture of my friend Laurence. I am obsessed with paper mosaics! I hope you will like it.
