Carta semanal #4

Hi All!

Here we had a rainy weekend so I cleaned and ordered my work space. But I’m pretty sure it will be messy again in just a few days! Anyway, it’s good to do it from time to time.

Today is Sunday, weekly ATC day!

This week the technique used is simple: print a picture or a drawing on a texturized cardstock (here is my first portrait done at the class I’m taking), and layered it with a piece of vellum attached with a brad. This way you can create a whimsical journaling without directly altering your photo, and create an interesting effect of transparency. You can use simple transparencies or vellum papers of different colours to obtain this layering effect. On the back of the card, I just told the story of this portrait.

Please, don’t be shy and show your ATCs!

Thanks for your comments and visits, it means a lot to me!

Happy Sunday!
